Slovenian NATO Defence College Ancien’s Association manages web portal http://noazd-si.org/en/ . We are handling your personal data carefully, responsibly and with a high awareness of the importance to protect your personal information and respect your privacy.
Personal data is collected, used and processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA-1-UPB1 Ur. L. RS, no. 94/2007) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) based on your personal consent. We got you consent with you requested for credentials to log in the web portal. Only logged users can comment the news on the web portal, they directly submit their basic data (username) on the web portal along with commentary.
The scope and purpose of collecting personal data
Your contact details (name, surname, and email address) are collected and stored when you submitted request for credential to log on web portal. They are used for issuing the credential to users (username and password).
We do not process your personal data further and we do not use them for any other purposes. Personal data are not sent to third parties, or by any other means used for purposes that do not conform to below described purposes of the processing and regulations on the protection of personal data.
The processing of personal data for that purpose is based on your consent in accordance with Article 6, pt. 1.a. General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (GDPR).
We are not responsible for any errors, dispute or damage which is caused from incorrect data entering by users.
Security of personal data
Your personal data will be processed and handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA-1-UPB1 Ur. L. RS, no. 94/2007) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To protect personal data, we will use the organizational, technical and other relevant procedures and measures to prevent unauthorized access or destruction of data, changes or loss, and unauthorized processing.
Retention period of personal data
Your personal data will be kept until your send us request for cancellation of your access to the portal. The result of cancelation process it that all your personal data on the web portal we will deleted.
Ensuring the rights of individuals when processing personal data
Anytime you can withdraw your consent given for processing your personal data. In this case, we will prevent further use of your personal data.
We guarantee the rights to:
- Access to your personal data and information on the purpose of the processing;
- correction of inaccurate personal data;
- limits the processing of your personal data if, for eg.: you opposed to delete your personal data, and instead you request restriction of use;
- cancellation your personal data: You can request to delete your personal data when you for eg.: they are no longer needed for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, or if you cancel your consent;
- data portability: The data you have had provided to us, can be transferred to another operator. We will provide transfer in a structured, widely used and machine-readable form if is technically feasible to do it, you have the right for transfer personal data directly from one operator to another.
